ABOUT.

I’m Adam, originally from Chester, Cheshire, and I moved into Whitchurch in 2016 after meeting my girlfriend, Samantha. Since then a lot has changed for me, I left my long term job of 10 years in the event industry and joined the team at Nantwich Cheese Company. I bought my first house and on the 1st of January 2020 my first son, Harry, was born. I am a huge F1 fan and one of my ‘Bucket List’ activities would be to go to Silverstone to see the British Grand Prix.

EXPERIENCE.

For 10 years I worked in and managed an event company, focusing on private events such as weddings and parties, whilst I enjoyed and thrived in this role after 10 years I needed a change. When I first arrived at Nantwich Cheese I was working in production, within in 6 months I’d worked, understood and supervised the running of all the production lines on site. After 12 months the opportunity came up to join the operations team, assisting the Production Manager and Operations Manager in the day to day running of the factory. I spent the next 18 months mainly focused on Quality Assurance and Hygiene standards across the site. While this is a challenging role in any environment, I enjoyed the time spent learning in depth about food safety and the principles and importance of HACCP. I achieved a level 3 in HACCP and Food Hygiene.

PROUDEST MOMENT.

My proudest moment at work would be leading my first BRC audit and achieving an AA grade. The whole team on site made a fantastic effort and the hard work by all paid off. I was immensely proud of everyone that day. Outside of work, buying my first house and welcoming my amazing son into the world were the best 6 months of my life.

PASSIONATE ABOUT.

I believe hard work pays off, and determination and persistence are the best ways to achieve goals, both personal and professional.
